My Goal is to Help You Return to a Pain-Free Active Lifestyle!
It can happen with John F. Barnes, PT's approach to Myofascial Release!

John Barnes' approach is different from the "old" form of Myofascial Release that is still being taught in many schools today.  This old form teaches "muscling-through" each restriction.  It also does not teach waiting for each barrier (layer) of a restriction to release.  Many therapists practicing Myofascial Release today wait only for the first release and then go on to the next restriction.  There are at least three barriers (layers) in a restriction and releasing only one or two of them will not facilitate true healing.  When you look for a Myofascial Release therapist, please ask how many of John Barnes' classes they have taken.  This will help you determine their skill level.

John Barnes discovered many years ago that when forced to release, the restriction comes back.  But when gently urged, the restriction truly releases.  Although it takes time for the restriction to release, it is worth every minute it takes to go deep into the restriction and allow each layer to release.  That is when true healing takes place.

Why am I still in pain when doctors say

there is nothing wrong?

Do I have to live with pain when doctors say there is nothing that can be done?

I encourage you to discover Myofascial Release, the most effective form of therapy in the history of healthcare!

Because restrictions in the body's fascial system do not show up in any of the standard medical tests, healthcare professionals have ignored the importance of an entire physiological system, the fascial system, that profoundly influences all other structures of the body.  This omission has severely restricted your ability to relieve your symptoms and to heal.

Trauma and inflammatory responses create myofascial restrictions that can produce crushing tensile pressure of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures. This enormous pressure acts like a "straightjacket" on muscles, nerves, blood vessels and bones producing the symptoms of pain, headaches and restrictions of motion.

The medical approach is to drug patients so they are temporarily free from pain, but it does nothing about the "straightjacket" of pressure that is causing the pain.  Traditional physical, occupational, and massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic and other forms of therapy treat the symptoms caused by the "straightjacket" effect of a restricted myofascial system, but does nothing about the "straightjacket" of pressure that causes and perpetuates the symptoms.  This is why so many patients have only temporary results, never seeming to get better with traditional therapy.

Only the John F. Barnes, PT approach to Myofascial Release treats the entire myofascial system (the straightjacket) that creates the symptoms.  Patients are sent to John F. Barnes' treatment centers from all over the world for Myofascial Release treatments when medicine, surgery, traditional therapy or massage did not produce the desired results.

Now, you can receive this same therapy
right here in Central Arkansas.
